This weekend was great! Branden had Saturday off, which is a rare occasion and it was so nice getting to spend the day with him.
First of all our kid is amazing! He had a bottle when he woke up and went right back to bed and slept in till 10:30 am! Yeah, we are pretty lucky. Then we headed out and had some wraps from Froots. Love that place. Then we went to Target and ran some errands and then Ace napped while Bran and I worked on our computers and did some things around the house and got ready for my sister's 30th birthday party.
We headed over to Ashley's after Ace's nap. We had a great time. I spent most of the night trying to wrangle the munchkin but it was great seeing some old friends and meeting some new ones.

Sunday wasn't very exciting. Ace slept in again, heck yeah! Then we went grocery shopping, ate and he napped. I did lots of laundry (blah). 

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has made a purchase from me. I am so grateful for the support and business. After this initial trial run I am happy to say I will be buying fun baby leg warmers and cloth diapers for my shop. I will be adding more items as time goes on. I have BIG plans! I have recently been given the opportunity to review The Snuggle Bear Boutique. We have been fortunate enough to get a chance to try out some of her works of art. The first item she made for Ace was a small security blanket. I had been wanting one for him and after seeing how awesome hers had turned out for  daughter I asked her to make one for Ace. She made it to match his nursery with minky fabric in blue and green and ribbons around the edges. The second I gave it to Ace it was like the best thing he had every experienced. We got it when he was 6 months old and it was perfect for him. To this day he still uses it for nap times and when we are in the car.

When I was looking for something for Ace to wear for his baptism I mentioned to Alyssa what I wanted and she said she could come up with something. She was so great at really getting exactly what I envisioned. The color was perfect for a little boy and the monogramming is gorgeous. The jumper was so soft that he didn't mind wearing it all day unlike his ones from Carter that were a bit more stiff. We have gotten multiple compliments on his outfit as well.

Overall I have loved both items Alyssa has made for Ace. She has two daughters who wear her clothes and love on her Taggies. I would highly recommend her work to anyone I know.

Ace is incredible. He is learning so many signs. Here is him signing "water" after only two days of teaching him it. I also love the way he says "more" before signing it. Such a sweet baby.

I have decided to try to stick to a dinner menu this week. I always get home and never have anything planned for dinner. On the rare occasion I will throw something in a crock pot in the morning or stop on the way home to get something from the store but when my husband works late I just say screw it and Ace usually has already eaten before we get home and by the time he has had a bath, milk, story and it's bedtime for him I am worn out. I think if I have everything planned out I will have a better chance of actually making dinner.
Here are some things I think will be easy to get done. I will do my best to document my cooking experience for your own personal enjoyment since my cooking skills aren't always the best :-P
