Review & Giveaway!
I am sure I am not alone when I say I am always thinking about the foods that go into my child's mouth. I wonder if he is eating enough or getting the right amount of each type of food. We are a busy family and I want to make sure that we don't make meal time just a quick happy meal and move on. To me children don't need to eat chicken nuggets and fries to be satisfied. My son never even had a chicken nugget till he was 13 months old and it was a last resort because we were in an airport and we needed something easy for him to eat and there was only a McDonalds.
I was recently asked to review a book "Serve it Up" by Laura De Simone. This book gives you not only great ideas on what you should be feeding your child but also the calorie intake based on your child's age, gender and level of activity, which is not information we always think about for children. It is a great book that helps a busy parent not have to think as much about what and how much your child is eating because the information is right there for you.
Now you can win your copy of Serve it Up! Just do a few entries below and it could be all yours.

" For the homemade mommy when the book asks for chicken, pizza or shrimp... They can substitute their favorite lemon chicken, gluten free pizza or spicy shrimp and use the book as a portion control guide only.
For the non-cooks its a great resource they can use directly for food reference and meal planning." -Laura De Simone
