Perfectly Imperfect Mom

Well not officially. We need to take him to the vet next Saturday at 9AM to be checked out and sign the papers and pay the adoption fee and then we are his official parents.

We went today to Naples to pick him up. It took about an hour and a half and we got there and they already had a little costume on him. It was a skeleton hoodie. So cute!

His foster parents were really sad to let him go. They became really attached to him. He is super cuddly and sweet. The dogs all got along and he looks so much like Tanner. He did have 2 accidents in the house but I think he will be ok.

We went to dinner with my cousin Mike, his wife and their son. It was nice. We need to do it more often. Teresa is like well I guess I will accept a dog baby since you have yet to give me a baby to babysit. She is going to be so excited when we finally get pregnant. She has been itching for another baby in our family.

Tomorrow we are going to their son, Brian's, show at their church. He has his own band and they are really good. I think it will be fun and then we are going to go to a scary movie. Probably Paranormal Activity 2.

I need to go study, test Monday!

And then we get our new dog Simon! I am super excited. I feel like I am taking my baby fever and transfering it into a dog. I mean we still are not pregnant and it's been a year. I am so disappointed.

Jamie's Birthday

I got 40 OPK's in the mail yesterday and 10 pregnancy tests. These are the cheapies but if I get any positives on the OPK's I will confirm with digital ones since I ordered a new batch of those as well. I haven't gotten them yet but should by Monday. I am hoping I will ovulate soon. I felt a little pain on my right side as I am writing so maybe that was an O pain? Who knows.

Today was a fun day. I took one of the girls I babysit for to the mall since she had a half day at school and I promised her I would take her the next time it was just us so she could pick out a birthday present. She has been looking forward to this for awhile and I have been too. She is so fun and cute. She is 8 and a little fashionista. She cracks me up. She got a animal print clutch purse and change purse. Can we say too cute?

Then we met up with my sister and we to the store and she put on a scary mask and "tried" to scare her little brother which I knew she wouldn't because he thinks everything is funny and she was so funny. He covered his mouth and cracked up. He gets excited over everything and laughs so easily. I just love these kids. I was talking to their Mom and she told me how if their Dad is like I am going to stay home and spend your day off with you they are like no we want Brenna lol. I love it. They are like little sister or nieces to me and of course Daniel is like a little nephew to me. I just can't express how much I love these kids. They are seriously the best.  Anyway when we were shopping we went to Holister and looked at some of the sale thing and I got this really cute button up pink shirt and I am obsessed with the back. It has really cute buttons. I took a picture and I also got this cute necklace from my friend who works in NYC and she works with different stores and jewelry. I added pics below. Also one from a couple Saturday's back.

I was going to try not to go to another doctor appointment and try to see if we can get pregnant on our own but as of right now AF still has no arrived and I don't think I have ovulated yet. I am getting really tired of this. I actually went and picked up Vitex because it is supposed to help regulate your cycle so hopefully that will help but who knows. My appointment is for the 11th and hopefully this time it won't take 3 hours. That is the one huge downfall with my OBGYN. They take forever to get you in because 1. they are so busy and 2. it is a 100% hispanic office and this is not being racist but a lot of time the hispanic culture is just more laid back about time. In a way I think it's nice to not stress or worry but when it comes to the doctors office I want to be seen ASAP. The only reason I haven't found another doctor is I love my doctor's office. The girls are so sweet, my doctor is awesome and positive. I don't even care that they sometimes speak to me in spanish lol. I actually kind of like it. I think it's one of the joys of living in South Florida. We have that culture no one else can say they have. It's very unique to us.
I am hoping he will give me something to help but I am not sure what the next step is. I know my blood work came back good and I am ovulating but the fact that my cycles are so long give me less chances to get pregnant.

Since I had strep throat last week I now have a cough. The best part about this is apparently cough suppressants with Expectorant in it help with producing more CM which can help with TTC! I had some from Walgreens even though most people get Mucinex but it has the same ingredient so why not, right? Since my cycle is so eff'ed up I am going to just start taking it now and hopefully I will ovulate soon. I need to buy some more OPK's because I only have 1 left but I think I am about to ovulate because I had mild cramping yesterday and a couple BB twinges. We shall see!

Ok so I was just reading a post on a BBC group about the Sperm Meets Egg Plan. Has anyone tried this? I think I might go this route and see what happens.

Can you please show your ugly red face ASAP! I would really like to start getting a normal cycle and without you showing up on time and me not being pregnant I am getting really sick of this wait. I am tired of this waiting game. If I had a normal cycle that was about 28 to 30 days I would love you but with these irregular cycles you are more hated not then the day I got you when I was 12 years old.

My husband and I went and saw Life as we Know It tonight. It was beyond cute and of course got my baby fever really going.

I also got a call from my OBGYN and all my tests came back great so I am not sure if I should make an appt. to talk to my doctor about anything or should we just keep trying?

On a shitty note I failed my math test! AHH I think I have test anxiety except I never do horrible in a classroom with everyone it just seems like math makes me freeze up and freak out. I am getting a tutor so hopefully that will help.

Ok so my baby fever is back! I am wanting a baby like crazy right now. We haven't been preventing so I am hoping it will happen. We had our trip to Disney so I am glad that is out of the way and I got to do all that fun stuff and not be pregnant but now I am ready to get this thing going again. I need to make an apt. with my OBGYN to get my test results back from my blood work to make sure everything is ok.

Ok, so apparently I have been deleting comments on my page. I don't know how to publish them. I thought they just showed up on the posts and I could delete them out of the comments section. So confused!

I feel like crap! Last night I woke up to a sore throat and today I feel awful. I had to take a test earlier too and so I made myself get up and study a bit and then drove to school and took the test then came right back home and have been on the couch ever since. I wish Bran was here to take care of me but he is at work, boo! I have to babysit tonight at 7:40 so I am hoping its only till about 10 so I can hurry back home and cuddle with Bran and pass out.

On a fun note, I had been wanting this Vera Bradley backpack and so I told my Mom for an idea for Christmas and I saw that there was free shipping on sale items so she ordered it for me!!! I am so excited. I don't have any Vera Bradley bags and never really liked them all that much but I think the backpack would be good for Disney or the Keys. I hate bringing a purse to places like that. Can. not. wait!

We also went to one of my favorite places,  CELEBRATION! I love that little town. They were having an Oktoberfest going on and it was really cute and fun. They had a German band and lots of little stations with food and treats. My friend Andreina came up for the night so we got a pretzel covered with caramel, pecans and drizzled with chocolate! It was delicious. Then there was a house that was made to look like a ship. It was insane. Overall the trip was so awesome, the only thing we missed out on is the nighttime fireworks because the night we were going to do it we were exhausted and ended up leaving early and going home and passing out. Thankfully we have seasonal passes and are going back!

Last night was our friend Jamie's birthday and was having a little party at the Hard Rock Hotel. We got there around 9PM and hung out in the suites he got for his birthday and had a few drinks then after sitting there for over an hour and a half my brother, his wife and Bran all decided to go down to the bars and hang out since Bran and I had to leave around 11:30 because Bran had to work this morning. We went to Murphy's Law and got a beer and did a little dancing and some random dude stared dancing up on me when I was walking towards Branden. Awkward!

Then after awhile we headed out and of course I was buzzed because I NEVER drink. It's a joke with everyone that they better watch out because if I am drinking I am probably going to get sick or drunk really easily. Luckily I only got drunk easily and Bran and I decided we had to stop at McDonalds. Bad Decision! We got home and we ate our greasy food while watching Jersey Shore. To me that seems like the two are one in the same but anywho Jersey Shore was awesome because Angelina left! She got on my last nerve.

Then we headed to bed, uhg yeah. I literally couldn't sleep! I don't know what my deal is lately. I am so sick of this. I am having weird anxiety about what, I have no idea. That is the problem. Why am I getting random anxiety that is keeping me awake at night? I think I need to start running to help wear me out during the day. Now that the weather is nicer I think I am going to try to do running and yoga. We shall see how I do with that! I need some kind of motivation.

Overall it was nice to get out last night but not being able to go to bed till 7AM, yes 7AM, sucked! I slept till noon which will not help with going to bed tonight. Oye!
