Fall Family Fun!

Who else is totally in love with Fall? It feels like the true start of Fall when October hits. There is so much to do and it all seems to be centered around family fun. 
Here is a list of our favorite Fall activities!
1. Pumpkin Patch. Every single year we get together with friends and go to the pumpkin patch. We have a Farmer's Market here that has a painting area and the kids love it. We started this tradition of going with friends when Ace was just a baby. It's so cool to be able to see how much all of our kids have grown and changed through the years. 
2. Decorating. Once September starts I am all about Fall decor. Who doesn't love pumpkins all around the house? The most fun is decorating for Halloween. My husband usually goes all out. It's one of his favorite things to do. 

3. Scary movies. Ok so maybe they aren't very scary but we love watching Halloween movies together. The kids get some yummy snacks, their favorite is Goldfish crackers and the orange goes quite nicely with Halloween, right? Then we cuddle up with cozy blankets, turn out all the lights and watch a Halloween movie.  
4. Hayrides! Last year we took the kids to a Fall event and they had hayrides. When I was a kid we did hayrides every year during Christmas time but it was really fun to get to go during the Fall festival. The kids loved it. 
5. Baking. Nothing screams October or Fall than baking. I love baking cookies for the kids, sure they are just the packaged ones because I am the worst cook but whatever works!
