Oh Eczema, We Are Not Friends!
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NEOSPORIN® ESSENTIALS™. All opinions are 100% mine.

So as embarrassing as this is I have had the most annoyingly dry, itchy skin on my upper arms since I can remember. My Mom had it as well and my sister also suffers from this. Thankfully we live in Florida so the humidity does help but when the cooler weather comes or I have been stuck inside most of the day I seriously feel like nothing can help this. I also hated that I could never use those amazing body washes that had flowery scents. They always irritated my skin even more. I would get these beautiful gift baskets of scented lotion and body wash and I could never use it.
Luckily there is now an incredible product out there for those who suffer from Eczema! NEOSPORIN® ESSENTIALS™ is a skincare solution for Eczema! Eczema affects 35 million Americans and 10-20% of those are children. How heartbreaking to see a child have to deal with such a miserable feeling. Eczema typically affects the face, elbows, knees and neck and can be triggered by colder weather or even just by certain types of fabrics. If you think you may have Eczema look out for dry, itchy, red inflamed skin and rash like.
With NEOSPORIN® ESSENTIALS™ they have a Body Wash and Moisturizing Cream for daily use and a Hydrocortisone cream for itch relief. The Daily Moisturizing Cream is clinically shown to restore visibly healthier skin in 3 days! Talk about fast results.
So what can you do to help your dry, itchy skin this winter season? The top tip I know that has worked for me is keeping your skin moisturized and what better product to use than NEOSPORIN® ESSENTIALS™ Daily Moisturizing Cream? Another great tip is to use a humidifier to your room to add moisture to the air. And don't forget to keep up with your regular skin care routine of bathing and moisturizing as well as using a topical medications.

Good to know about this. My niece suffers from eczema. We will have to see if we can find this for her!! Great post!
ReplyDeleteYou might want to check your diet too. My husband gets horrible eczema - it used to get so bad that it kept him up at night itching, and the scratching would cause blisters. We found out that it was caused by allergies. He's allergic to eggs, and we just discovered, some types of seeds (so far, sunflower and sesame seeds). Some seed oil is used in soaps and creams and we realized lately the reaction can be caused topically too!
