| Ace and me on the train |
He is by far Ace's favorite toy so when we saw they were coming to town we knew we had to take him. We dropped Ashlyn off at my cousins' so we could spend the day with just him.

Hey everyone!
I had a doctor appointment this week and am 36 weeks. I wanted to update you all on some bummer news.
Miss Everly is breech! Yes, she still has time to flip but if not we are looking at a c-section. I am not even entertaining the idea of a breech birth and wouldn't be able to do it anyway since I am considered high risk. After Ace came out not breathing and being stuck for awhile and it took them 4 minutes to revive him there is no way I am risking that happening with Everly.
If I have a c-section I will be disappointed in a way because I know I will have a harder recovery which means a harder time holding my girls.
I feel like poor Ashlyn is going to get the hard end of this. She is my shadow, I hold her all day, she hangs out with me and we sit together and she will sleep on me. I just get really upset thinking about that being difficult after this. I knew she would have to share me with Everly but I imagined being able to hold both of them and when Everly slept or whatever playing with her and holding her. I guess you aren't supposed to hold anything bigger than your newborn. AHH I just get so upset thinking about it.
It will all work out and it's definitely something I just had to tell myself will pass and I will forget it but it still bums me out. I just hope that it won't be as bad as I am thinking with not being able to hold Ashlyn as much. Thankfully she is at an age where she get be propped up on a pillow in front of me and we can talk and play and she loves that but I don't want her to need me to hold her and I can't.
I go next Wednesday to the doctors for an ultrasound to check to see if she has flipped. I am going to try some different things to hopefully get her in the right position but my short torso might work against me. My doctor was super sweet and optimistic and said the fact that she is still moving around a lot means she could flip but of course I had to go and ask what happens if she doesn't flip. She looked at me and said then it's a c-section. She knew I really didn't want that, obviously and they aren't ones to jump the gun on that one there so I knew she was trying to just be positive and not mention it just yet.
Heres hoping she flips and if not, heres hoping everything with Everly and me goes well! I trust my doctors and have so much faith in them so I just need to try to not stress it. Thankfully I have had some amazing girls give me advice on what to expect and what to do to make it less painful. I am a lucky girl to have so many people who care about us!

I feel like I have completely failed at keeping track of this pregnancy.
Poor Everly, she is going to have major third child syndrome.
So first of all this pregnancy has been crazy different from Ace's.
I felt so sick the first trimester. It was awful. It was that "forever feeling like I could throw up but can't" feeling 24/7. If I could have just thrown up I think I would have been good but nope, my body refused to allow any relief.
I also gained weight right off the bat and had a belly. Not cool, Everly, not cool!
Thankfully my weight gain has actually been the same I guess I just gained it faster in the beginning than I did the first time and kept steady after that.
The saddest difference is I have gotten my first stretch marks on my stomach, sigh. At first I got one and it was maybe an inch and a half, no big deal. I was actually kind of like hmm this is kind of cool like I have one piece of proof of my last pregnancy but now I have 2 more under it and they are small so I am not freaking out yet but if these effers get bigger I will cry into a pint of ice-cream.
Actually speaking of ice-cream, that isn't happening because I have gestation diabetes. I know, lets all take a moment to realize what this means for a hungry pregnant woman. I had such a sweet tooth this pregnancy, nothing like Ace's where I ate more of meats and cheeses. I am hoping after this little girl pops out this is all just a sad little memory.
I don't think much else has been different other than those things. I am not as big of a rush to get her here like I was with Ace. Ace was 3 weeks early and yes, it was nice to not have to deal with those last weeks of pregnancy since it was a horribly hot summer, it was still rough having a baby who was just not ready to be here.
I can see a huge difference in Ace's personality when he was a newborn and Ashlyn's who was born right on her due date. I know they are two different babies but I think because he had a few issues those 3 weeks or even maybe another week or two would have done him some good.
I am also not ready to have Ashlyn share me. She is such an incredible baby and I know she will adjust really well but I still love being able to just cuddle her all day while Ace is at school and not have anyone else there to distract me from that.
So that is pretty much my summary of this pregnancy. Hopefully there isn't anything too exciting that goes on from here on out.
Were your pregnancies different or the same?

Hey, girl, hey!
So first of all I want to apologize for our incredibly ridiculous my blog looks right now. Apparently I have had so many visitors this month and used up all the bandwidth I had with Photobucket and they turned my page into a hot mess. It will go back to normal on the 20th.
Anyway things around here are pretty uneventful now that we are done with our home study and just waiting on Ashlyn to be born. Bran and I fly out to California on Friday to wait for her arrival so lets hope she doesn't take too long. I am slightly freaking out about leaving Ace for too long. I have never been away from him longer than 3 days and that was for the Bloggy Conference I went to last month. He was home with Branden so it wasn't too bad for me to leave him.

This time though, we won't know how long we will be stuck in Cali. I am hoping the process is quick so we aren't away from home with a newborn too. That is going to be difficult I think. Oh well, once we get back here I think everything will be pretty awesome. I can't wait to see Ace with his baby sister.
As far as my pregnancy is going, it was a nightmare in the beginning but now things are good. I was so sick all day long. It was the complete opposite of Ace's pregnancy. I also got a belly almost instantly. With Ace I barely was showing at 22 weeks and I am already bigger than I was then. Need proof? Here you go!
We went to the pumpkin patch again yesterday with Acey's friends. We do that every year and this year was really funny because now that all the kids are 2 they really have a mind of their own when it comes to pictures. I will post pictures tomorrow since I am waiting to see if my friend got a good one of us with the kids. Check out my post from last year, HERE, to see the past two years of pictures. So crazy how much they have changed.
