Perfectly Imperfect Mom

Who else is super stoked that tomorrow is Halloween? I can not wait to see the kids running around getting candy. This year is going to be so cute with the girls actually walking.
Everly and Valentina fighting over a car
I am not sure if I posted but Ace is going to be Captain America, Ashlyn is going to be Spiderman and Everly will be the Hulk. They girls are obsessed with their super hero hoodies. They put them on every night before bed when we play dress up. Probably my favorite thing ever.
If you need a little Halloween fun, watch this Ellen video. You will not be disappointed. I was laughing so hard.
So I am absolutely loving this travel mug. I really need a good one to take to work with me and this "But First, Coffee" one is ahhhmazing. Putting it on my Christmas List!
I also can not get enough of this faux fur color dress. I can totally see Everly wearing this. I am on the hunt for clothes for Christmas and this one just screamed Everly.
For Ashlyn I am loving this sparkle tulle dress. She has such a sweet little personality that I think this totally fits her. Since the dresses are the same color they'd totally go together but if I decide to mix it up a bit I love this pink sequin one.
I have no clue what I would put Ace in yet.
I am also loving this striped dress for myself. I am all about a comfy dress for work.
Anyway else starting to think about Christmas? I have been drooling over some delicious recipes on Pinterest. These melted snowman oreo balls are incredibly cute. I don't know if I have the talent to pull them off though.
Those are pretty much all my Friday Favorites! Check out my Instagram for my Follow Friday post. I always love sharing my favorite instagram accounts with you all.

Last weekend we celebrated Ashlyn's birthday. We just had family over Saturday night and hung out on Sunday. We will be doing a joint party for the girls in January/February so we kept it low key.
We also have been hanging out with our new neighbors this past week. Ace and their kids love each other and they are such an awesome couple so it's been nice.
Who is ready for Halloween? Branden has been decorating and I can't wait to see the final result. He got really creative with my cousin make tombstones so it should look great!
If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you've probably seen this picture of Everly in her hulk sweater. She is hilarious in it. She kept scaring poor Ashlyn though. Halloween should be interesting with those two.
This weekend we went to our house in the Keys with our friends Mike, Melissa and their daughter Hailey who is Everly's age. The kids had so much fun together. It's finally getting easier to take them to the Keys. It's definitely a lot of work bringing their pack n' plays but at least we don't have a bunch of bottles and need highchairs.
It feels like now till New Years we will be so busy. Between the upcoming holidays, trips and birthdays we hardly have any free weekends. Anyone else feel like this time of year is just non-stop activities? I am not complaining because I do love it but it also makes time fly by.
Now I am dying to hear what everyone's kids are going to be for Halloween!!
If you haven't already make sure you enter this months GIVEAWAYS! I will have a couple more coming up so keep an eye out for them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHLYN!
You are just the sweetest little thing. Your smile brightens my days and I love you so much.

Your personality is so funny to me. You are a mix of sweetness and stubbornness. You listen so well yet you will do something you aren't supposed to and if you get caught you walk away like it wasn't you. It's so funny.

You are starting to talk more and more. You and Everly have your own language so at times it's very frustrating to get you to say words that actually make sense to us. Slowly but surely though!

You are a very picky eater. You don't really like meat, which I am fine with as long as you eat other forms of protein. You love to read books, cuddle and watch movies. I can see you being the kid who is very introspective like your cousin Brianna. You remind me so much of her it's crazy.
You are obsessed with your Minnies and anything Frozen (books, movie, microphone). You love dressing up and coloring.
You love being outside and playing with sidewalk chalk. I think your favorite thing ever is being in the pool. You see the pool and just point to it and ask over and over "pool?". You are a total water baby like I was! You learned to swim very early. I think you were about 18 months. You were our earliest swimmer by far.
I can't wait to see how much you learn this year. I know it's going to be a big one for talking for you. You are trying to hard. I love you so much my little angel baby!

Friday nights I always try to do something fun with the kids. Even if it's as simple as getting a movie and eating something out of the ordinary to kick off the weekend.

Last week was a long week at work since we were doing testing so I really wanted to just do something that was easy but still felt like we weren't just sitting around at home. Branden and Ace went to the store and got a movie (only $0.50 from RedBox!), some hot dogs, meatballs and some Pillsbury Crescent Rolls so we could make something fun!
We found this super cute recipe on how to make Mummy Dogs and Mummy Meatballs. It's really easy and your kids can help you make them. For all the details click HERE. You can also get $1.00 off of 2 Pillsbury Refrigerated Baked Goods Products from October 1st – October 30th.
Everly is what we call our garbage disposal. She eats anything and everything and she eats it fast. I actually looked over at her and didn't see her food anymore and asked Branden if she dropped it but nope, she ate it that fast. It's scary, really. She obviously loved these and wanted seconds, ha!
Ashlyn is my pickiest eater so I was surprised she ate them. I think she has only had a hot dog once and she rarely likes meat so it was a shocker that she finished hers and asked for a Mummy Meatball also!
Mummy Dogs and a Mummy Meatball!
Ace had so much fun with these Mummy Dogs. He loved that they had eyes. It was also a good way for him to try mustard since he usually sticks to ketchup. We gave him a fork and he would dip it in the mustard to put eyes or hair on his mummy after he licked it off.
