Happy Monday! Today I am starting my second round of The 21 Day Fix! Woot!
I will post more on that later.
This past weekend was my best friend's birthday and we spent the weekend in the Keys. So. much. fun! It was her 30th so we decided we needed to do something big and we went Parasailing.
I have always wanted to do it so it was perfect to do it now.
We mostly just hung around the pool, went snorkeling and enjoyed a little sunset dip at the sandbar since it was a kids free weekend.
You have been giving us a run for our money since you were born. You have been super colicky like your brother was. It sucks seeing you so miserable. Thankfully we got you on Similac Expert Care Alimentum and it seems to be helping. Your crying has decreased a lot.
You are smiling all the time and "talk" to us. Your eyes are so blue and pretty.
We had your 2 month doctor appointment and you are 23 inches (60%) and 10lbs 11ozs (30%).
You were our earliest smiler and the one who has smiled the most at this age. It's very sweet to watch since you have had a rough start. Thankfully colic usually only last about 3 months and we can tell you are getting a lot better.
Wearing: size 0-3 months
Diaper: size 1
Eating: 4oz every 2.5/3 hours
Sleeping: wakes up once at night for a bottle, naps randomly
Miss Everly, it has been a tiring month but I wouldn't change it for the world. We love you so much and know it's just going to keep getting better and better!
You are 7 months old! You have been such an easy baby. You are still a total Daddy's girl too. You give me little sweet smiles while Daddy gets huge smiles and giggles.
You have started to really enjoy Ace. You think he is super funny and he you like when he tickles you.
You love your Sophia Giraffe and Jumperoo still.
You have been sleeping in your own room since March and you are a great sleeper. You have been having separation anxiety so we had a few nights of you getting upset when we walked away from your crib. We ended up patting your tummy and you were ok.
You have the sweetest personality. People always ask us if you have a voice because you are so quiet and content all the time. You rarely cry and will just sit and hang out. Everyone just loves you.
You are also sensitive to when your sister is crying. I noticed one time that when she cried you made a wimper noise as if you were sad for her. You have also cried when she has but not to get attention but as if you were upset she was upset. I have a feeling you are going to be a very caring, sweet, loving person growing up.
You still only have two teeth and aren't crawling yet but you move yourself all around the floor to get what you want. No real words yet but you will make the "mama" sound randomly.
Miss Ashlyn, you are such an incredible little girl. We love you so much!!!
