I have been planning Everly's First Birthday party for about a month or two now and I am getting so excited about it.
We are going with a Cinderella theme to tie in Happily Everly After. I have been pinning things like crazy and have already been busy ordering things to make it perfect.
I feel like since this is my last baby's first birthday I want to give her as much of a special birthday as her siblings. Ace had a fun Carnival/Circus theme and Ashlyn's was a Halloween dress up party. I love planning their birthdays but I know the older they get the less I will get to decide on. They will start having their own opinions and ideas of what they want. Ace is already planning his 4th birthday party which apparently will be super hero theme.
So far for her birthday we have a Cinderella coming to sing songs and tell a story and I ordered tutus, crowns and super hero capes for the kids to dress up in. I figured that was more fun than goodie bags. I also bought princess beach balls for the babies to play with. This is what I did for Ace's party and the babies loved it. I failed on that one for Ashlyn's.
My best friend is awesome and wants to make Everly's birthday cake! Oh and it will also be a dessert party since it will be at an in between time for eating. Probably not the best idea to do before dinner, sorry everyone!
I still have to figure out decorations but I have lots of ideas!
I still can't believe in just over a month my last baby will be One Year Old!
It was such a fun event with yummy treats and character meet and greets.
Ace fell asleep on the way down to Miami so when we got there and woke him up he was being a bit sensitive. He saw Sponge Bob and Patrick and got super nervous.
We headed over to the cupcake table and that seemed to warm him up to getting a picture with the big guys!
After we took pictures we headed into the theater and got our 3D glasses. This was Ace's first time watching a 3D movie and he did awesome!
Denise and Melissa from The Moms made a few announcements before the movie started and picked someone to win a Norwegian Cruise trip. It wasn't me so I was super jealous of the winner.
After we got some delicious Pirates Booty we sat back and watched the movie. First of all I didn't realize Antonia Banderas was in the movie. Love him!
Second, the movie had some great humor for not only the kiddies but for the adults too.
At the end of the movie we got to check out a clip for Norwegian Cruise Lines and I had no idea they had Nickelodeon characters on the ship. When I saw that I knew it would have to be my next cruise to take. Ace would love it! Here is what they have to offer…
Dora's Dance Party
Nickelodeon's Pajama Jam Breakfast
Nickelodeon Arts & Crafts
Meet & Greet Nickelodeon Characters
They also have some incredible water slides! I can not wait to plan my next vacation with Norwegian Cruise Lines!
The Sponge Bob Movie: Sponge Out of Water is in theaters February 6th so go check it out!
I received tickets to view this movie . I was not paid for this post. All opinions and statements are my own.
Since I am the worst at doing monthly updates for the girls I am just going to do them together.
Ashlyn is at a really fun and cute age. I love that she understands so much and tries to talk to us. She still doesn't really say words like Ace did at this age but she definitely tries to tell us what's up. She does a lot of pointing and babbling with it. Right now she is able to say go, wow, mama, baba, more and signs more.
Everly's new thing is WALKING! This girl is too much. She started taking steps at 8 months and is now full on walking. I seriously can't believe it.
Both of the girls had a very fun Christmas. They got baby dolls, a baby doll crib, stroller and carseat. We also got them some other toys but baby dolls was definitely the theme for this Christmas.
They both are in similar sizes. Ashlyn fits in 12-18 months awhile Everly fits in 9-12 months. Both girls are up to the higher sizes mostly for height. Everly is very thin while Ashlyn still has a bit of the chub but has thinned out a lot but overall they are getting closer in size which is crazy.
Personality wise Everly is still our crazy girl and Ashlyn is our sweet gentle one. They both are stubborn though. They are each others best friends as well. They love making each other laugh which is to die for.
Ashlyn is a total Mommy's girl still and Everly is much more independent and would rather be walking around and exploring. Ashlyn loves being held and cuddled. Ashlyn also loves to sing into her Frozen Magical Microphone.
Overall the girls are on a similar eating and sleeping schedule, 2 naps and sleep 12 hours at night. I would like to move them to one nap a day but Everly still is in that in between stage where she still needs the morning nap. Ashlyn could be moved to one nap so depending on the day she will get one instead of two.
We have been so behind on decorating this year. I mean we have 3 littles and in November and December it's been pure craziness. We have gone out of town, had continue sickies, Bran went out of town and my bestie came into town and we both have been working like crazy. To say this has been the busiest couple of months is an understatement.
We didn't even get our Elf on the Shelf out till the other night when Ace found him in our Christmas boxes. I mean serious parenting fail on our part. Thankfully he thought Santa brought it for him. It was probably the cutest thing ever.
I got creative one night and left a gingerbread house kit out with his Elf conveniently named Elf and sometimes Shelf. I think I am going to do some kind of cute breakfast thing for him this weekend or Monday to celebrate Christmas Break. We shall see.
Tomorrow night I am working at an event in Ft. Lauderdale (N. Federal Hwy & NE 31st St., Ft. Lauderdale) called Holiday Films on the Green so come on out and visit our table! They will be showing Frozenso you know it's going to be a fun night.
