This past weekend I found a box of old baby clothes and found some of my brothers old clothes and this one cracked me up. He looked like a little race car driver.
Don't forget to enter the GIVEAWAY going on right now!
My son has a new obsession and it is Monsters! We had gotten him two books from the dollar section at Target last year and they have become his absolutely favorites before bedtime. He thinks monsters are so cool.
We recently upgraded our monster book collection with the cutest monster book yet! It is Monsters Have Mommies by Angela Muse. First when I saw the cover I got really excited because I knew Ace was going to love it. As I read the book to him he got really into it. It is longer than his other monster books which is an added bonus. It has a really cute pictures of monsters and mommies and it moves on to monsters with their daddies and talks about family as well.
It also is a great book for early readers. It has a fun rhythm to it, large print and easy words to read.
This is a definitely must for any little one in your life. I love that we got this before Halloween too because it has a bit of a Halloween feel with it being a monster book, which is always fun when you are looking for books to go with the holiday.
* All opinions and thoughts are my own. I was not paid for this review but was offered a free copy of the book in order to review it.
Home remodeling is a wonderful way to increase the value of your home, but it's important not to go overboard and spend more than you end up gaining in value. Kitchens and bathrooms are the areas that tend to look dated the fastest, so these are the areas that homeowners are most likely to remodel. Be sure to plan your remodeling project carefully and have a realistic budget before you begin.
Start Small
The things that people notice the most in other people's homes are often the smallest details. Just putting new pulls on your drawers and handles on your cabinets can bring a fresh look to your kitchen or bathroom. The hardware is inexpensive, and most people can change it themselves with little effort. You can install new covers on all your switch plates at the same time to update your rooms in just a few hours.
Rearrange Your Furniture or Appliances
Simply rearranging a room can give it a completely different look and feel. It's difficult to rearrange your kitchen because of the fixtures, but you can give your bedroom, living room or office an entirely different feel by changing the way the furniture is arranged. You may need to store a few things in your garage or outside while you are reorganizing, so pay closer attention to your home security to keep your belongings safe.
Add Mirrors and Lighting
One of the biggest complaints that many homeowners have about their homes is the lack of natural light. Adding more windows to your home may be an option, but it is expensive and time consuming. Another option is to add a mirror on the wall opposite every window in your home to reflect the natural light. You can also add more lighting to dark corners and hallways to increase the amount of light in your home.
Redecorate
Replacing the decor items in your room with a new theme is another inexpensive way to change the look and feel of your home. Be sure to clear all of your old decor items out before adding new ones so that your spaces don't end up looking cluttered and disorganized. Recovering your furniture or adding new accent pillows also changes the look of the room. A fresh coat of paint and new window blinds or curtains finish the updated look of any room. Repainting a room has a huge impact on how it looks and paint offers a big bang for your remodeling buck.
I know, I know, I am apologizing again for being super MIA lately. There is a lot going on but I promise I will be more active on here in a month or so but I realized I haven't shared Ace's Citrus Lane boxes in awhile.
I have been loving them lately. The past 2 or 3 months they have been really good. I feel like there was a month or two where I was really unhappy with them but they have definitely stepped up their game.
July and August's were great because they had items that had to do with back to school
In the July one Ace got a bento container that came with stickers so he could decorate it and make it his own. We also loved the Lace and Trace Pets by Melissa and Doug. Those two items alone were enough to make me happy with the box.
The August box it was so full of stuff! First it came with this really awesome coloring book with markers. I love this because it actually has a holder for the markers so we take this along with us when we go out to eat. Each page is a letter and a picture. Very cute.
It also came with bunny crackers, Ace's favorites. A puzzle box, which had 4 different puzzles, Eric Carle bandaids and some sanitizer wipes. All really awesome products. I also came with a coupon for a free outfit from FabKids which is a $35 value. This has got to be one of the best boxes we have gotten so far.
I can not wait to see what September has in store for us!
You can get your first box FREE if you order today before 11:59 PM!
