Perfectly Imperfect Mom

Yesterday's exercise challenge was a success! I will say its easier then it needs to be honestly. I added 10 push ups to the mix. How did everyone else do?

Caught red handed

 I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. We celebrated Easter with family and had a great time. We started the weekend off on Friday since I was off work. I took Ace to the splash park with a bunch of my Mommy friends and it was so fun. The water was cold so we just hung out on the blankets and the babies played and the mommies caught up.



Later that night Bran and I went on a double date with my cousin Mike and his wife who we are really close with and their kids watched the baby. We love doing stuff with them. It was a nice night out.

Saturday I went over to the Rodeo where church service was going to be because my cousins were there helping set up and we wanted to get some pictures of Ace. We got a few decent ones but since he wasn't napping and still feeling icky he wasn't in the mood. He has been crankier then normal. He usually is not fussy or anything so its been out of character for him. Everyone was all about him so of course once all the ladies held him he was all smiles again.

Sunday, Easter, we gave Ace his Easter basket full of books and a few other treats and then got ready for church. The service was fun because it was at the rodeo and they did a little show before hand. After that we went to my parents house and went in the pool and the kids had an Easter egg hunt. Ace got an egg with a dollar in it lol.








Overall it was a great weekend. We are hopefully going to go look at houses on Wednesday!!! Keep your fingers crossed for us.
How is everyone doing on the 20 day challenge? With our busy weekend and a sick baby I haven't started, oops! I am going to start today so I will post tomorrow on how it goes.

I have been having some major baby fever lately. I can not get over it. My husband and I going to let nature take its course so to speak for now and if nothing happens whenever we actually want to really try then we will be heading to the doctor to see what is going on. As some of you know I have PCOS and that is why it took us more than a year to get pregnant with Ace. I have yet to have a post pregnancy period so the hopes of getting pregnant on my own anytime soon are slim to none. Either way baby fever is setting in. Not sure if it's because Ace is becoming more and more independent and getting closer to toddlerhood or if it's that I want to have my children close in age like my sister and I are.
It's a hard thing to decide when you feel slightly conflicted. In one way I want my son to have his babyhood over with, have his own things he is interested in and a lot of time with just Branden and me before we have another one. Then I think of how fun it is to always have a playmate and someone to share a room with and confide in and just grow up together with. I then think well what if the next one ends up being our last one? Does that make a difference in how far apart I want them to be? I am thinking too much about it but I know it will happen when the time is right just like it did with Ace.
